Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa was built up in the mid 1980s under the lead of the Te Arawa Trust Board. It wasn’t until November 1990 that Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa turned into a consolidated element under the Charitable Trust Act.
In 1992 Te Rūnanga Nui o Te Arawa was assigned as the License Holder.
All through our long history, Te Reo Irirangi o Te Arawa (TRIOTA) has separated itself as an agile and future centered iwi radio station with the capacity to react to the needs of the station and also Te Arawa gatherings of people as we satisfy our central goal.
