Steel City Beats is where psych-rock and experimental electronic music end up in the same room. One hour you might hear Animal Collective, Caribou, The Orb, or Kid Koala, and the next you’re listening to a producer from Pittsburgh or Columbus whose name you’ll want to remember. The mix leans into IDM and EDM as much as it does the strange and the left-of-center, and regular sessions of newer releases keep it from going stale. If you like your music a little off the map, this is the station for it.
