CAM FM, the seed of the radio was first seeded at 1979 when Simon Cooper and Ellie Buchanan established the first broadcasting radio by the help of Cambridge broadcasting society. The programs of the station were firsts broadcasting using tape and recorder and was operated from a basement house which was near at the University area. Then later on the radio station received a licence for am radio broadcasting. After passing many years and getting experience CAM FM is now a very popular radio station broadcasting around the clock.
