Angeline Gunathilake (23 December 1939 – 29 March 2019), popularly called Angeline Gunathilake or Anjalin Gunathilaka, became a Sri Lankan singer, broadly speaking running as a playback singer with inside the Sinhala film industry. Considered the Silverbell of Sinhala cinema, Gunathilaka laboured on over 5000 playback songs in a musical profession that spanned almost six decades. She became an A-grade singer who graduated from Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. She died on the age of seventy-nine whilst receiving remedy on the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, Colombo.
