WVUM is the noncommercial and completely scholar-run radio station broadcasting out of the college of Miami. on the grounds that its inception in 1967, as a pirate radio station hidden in the Mahoney dormitory, The “Voice” has advanced into a nationally identified leader in university radio, broadcasting eclectic and singular tune programming (with a moderate digital bent), public affairs/news content and incredible sports applications (reflective of the U’s athletic programs).
