On November 19, 1984 a Association was formed known as Recreational and Cultural Association of Caria, established in Caria. Which was the seed of Radio Caria. Radio Caria was founded with the specific objective of the promotion of cultural and recreational activities of Portugal. Mainly in March 1989, the radio actually got a license for the Activity of broadcasting with the name Radio Caria.
