He was born on 19 August 1937. Completely blind at the age of 14, he attended the Seeduwa Deaf and Blind School. Caldera have become a radio artist in 1968 and recorded his first hit tune Thara Petia in 1972. He sooner or later launched a four-tune album in 1977. During his lifetime, he launched 3 audio cassettes and compact discs. Most of his songs have been solos and kid’s songs; it’s far stated that Caldera frequently sang for his very own kids and grandchildren.
