Radio Aguai Poty started its first program on air at August 29, 1998, by becoming the first Radio of the City of Fulgencios Yegros. As the first radio there they also was one of the pioneer of their radio broadcasting for various matters including user centric radio shows, social responsibilities and other socio-economic matters.
