Kpoo Fm can be an independent, listener sponsored, noncommercial radio station. Kpoo Fm has many users from various communities of San Francisco who have the effect of its operation. Kpoo broadcasts around the clock on 160 watts, with a new radiated power of 270 w, covering San Francisco, Oakland, plus the Bay Area. Kpoo focuses on jazz, reggae, salsa, blues, gospel, and reggae music. Kpoo Fm serves the Bay Area’s Latin community with several bilingual programs a week, and also produces programs with regards to Irish Americans, Arab Americans, ladies issues and Native American issues.
