Radio Universitaria 99.7 FM is the result of a partnership between Cooperativa Agraria Agroindustrial and the State University of the Midwest (Unicentro), both headquartered in Guarapuava, PR. Inaugurated in the 1980s, the station is maintained by the Pioneira Educational Radiodifusion Foundation of Parana, whose board of directors is composed of representatives of the cooperative and unicentric.
