Radio Camoapa is a community radio station, affiliated with the World Association of Community Radios, AMARC ALC. The station began its operations on April 1, 2004, with the purpose of serving the community of the municipality of Camoapa and neighboring towns. Radio Camoapa’s signal currently covers the central region of Nicaragua with 1,000 watts of power at 98.50 FM and also broadcasts over the internet at www.radiocamoapa.com.
