It is the only cultural radio of the non-profit area and operates in the Folklore Museum of Xanthi, in order to promote cultural events.
It does not operate competitively with the other radios of the region, since it does not broadcast advertisements for economic benefit, since its operating costs are fully covered by the Philproodidi Union of Xanthi.
