PyongYang FM is a radio broadcasting from North Korea. Broadcast hours are from 16:00 to 5:00 the next morning, and from 06:00 to 12:00. However, they broadcast 24 hours a day on holidays and anniversaries, including the first day of each week, Farmers’ Day, North Korean holidays, and the birthdays of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, which are considered major national holidays. Morning broadcasts often feature music by the Pocheonbo Electronic Orchestra and the Wangjaesan Light Music Troupe.
