It is the first evangelical radio station in Central America and the second in the entire American continent. It was also the first cultural radio station in Costa Rica. Cultural radio license, no commercial pattern. It is legally constituted as a non-profit association and is directed by a Board, which is responsible for ensuring the institution and make decisions collectively.
The frequencies used are 97.1 FM and 1080 أكون. Schedules are totally different, to meet the different tastes of Faro del Caribe 97.1 friendly listeners.
