Carole King is an American artist lyricist who has been dynamic since 1958, at first as one of the staff musicians at the Brill Building and later as an independent craftsman. Dynamic in the music business since 1958 first as a musician and afterward as 1,000,000 selling solo craftsman. She has composed or co-composed 118 Billboard Hot 100 hits and her collection Tapestry is appraised as perhaps the best collection ever.
