Glen Travis Campbell was brought into the world on April 22, 1936, and died on August 8, 2017. He is an American vocalist, guitarist, musician, TV host, and entertainer. He was most popular for a progression of hit melodies during the 1960s and 1970s, and for facilitating The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS TV from 1969 until 1972. He delivered 64 collections in a lifelong that crossed fifty years, selling more than 45 million records around the world, including twelve gold collections, four platinum collections, and one twofold platinum collection.
