Radio Surubim was born from a need for a people and a willingness of a man to always want to bring development to a needy and suffering region, but that he always had the concern to do what is best for these people. Monsignor Luis Ferreira Lima among other important works he brought to the city of Surubim, was the founder of the city’s first radio station. Inaugurated on April 21, 1986, played an important role in the growth of local commerce and stood out among other things as a gateway for many young people who dreamed of the profession of communicator and who today are used in major radio stations in the state.
