STARA FM 97.8 is a private radio station broadcasting in Kabul, Panjsher, Kapisa, Parwan and Logar territories. STARA FM communicates diverse live projects including live news 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Stara FM are wanting to go on air in Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat provincesby the end of 2013.
