The radio was constituted on August 9, 1998, after performing some experiences of street radio with speakers, touring the neighborhoods that make up the Bañado Sur. The main objective of the radio was the community animation and articulation. Gradually, through the dynamism of the inhabitants, a small radio space has been built on the premises of the Cristo Solidario Community Center and thanks to the help of a donation from Fe y Alegría we have been able to install the locution and operation room.
