LRT 742 HORIZONTE FM emerged as a result of the search for an alternative communication proposal, and due to the concern of many residents to have a medium that would really meet expectations in terms of broadcasting throughout the area. Through its daily broadcasts from Alcira Gigena to its entire area of influence, over the years it grew in professionalism and prestige until it became what it is today: a regional radio with a strong influence on its audience of young people and adult contemporaries.
