WGTN is the defacto station for Georgetown. Being Georgetown’s most seasoned station. WGTN is known as Georgetown’s Heritage Station. Authorized in March of 1948, and started TV in June of 1949. WGTN Radio Georgetown’s first station works on 1400 at 1000 watts both day and night. WGTN is presently TV from our everything new advanced, generator prepared transmission office on McDonald Road. Initially, we are the main station that thinks our center business to the needs of our group and to Georgetown County.
