Welcome to Disco Funk 80″s ..Back To The Days. The funk music will be turned upside down in the early 1980s by the massive arrival of new electronic instruments, such as synthesizers and drum machines designed by the Roland factories. Some groups, from the 1970s, such as Earth, Wind and Fire or Kool and The Gang, appropriate these instruments while extending the spirit of 1970s funk music, close to the American black disco, centered around the group and conducive to live. Other artists, groups or producers emerge, generating a different music, more oriented towards electronics and studio work, defining a new form of groove, but which, by the presence of great voices and often melodic compositions, returns nevertheless to the soul spirit of the 1970s.
