Mahmoud Dicko is a Malian imam from the Timbuktu region. He presides since 2008 the High Islamic Council of Mali (HCIM). Former teacher of Arabic, he became in the early 1980s the imam of the mosque of Badalabougou in Bamako. Since 2007 he has chaired the HCIM.
